Orphaned baby elephants are rescued from different national parks in Kenya by an exceptional team and brought into this sanctuary. The Nursery provides the first stage in the hand-rearing and development of milk-dependent baby elephants. Get to watch these baby elephants play and wallow in the mud. After they grow from four to five years old, they will be reintroduced to the wild. Enjoy this guided session with experienced guides and keepers from this sanctuary which takes place between 11 am to 12 noon daily. learn the efforts made by this sanctuary in elephant conservation in Kenya. After the one-hour session at the elephant sanctuary, our driver-guide will pick you up and drive you to the giraffe center. It is only 15 minutes drive from the elephants. This is a center concerned with preserving the rear species of Rothchild Giraffe by being a breeding center. it also supports and educates people on environmental conservation. You will come closer to these species of giraffes and feed them with the help of trained guides from the center. This is a tour not to miss when in Kenya.

Stop At: Learn to Make Jewelry&Pottery from clay – Kazuri Beads Factory, Karen, Nairobi 00502 Kenya
After the giraffe center, our guide will proceed with you to the Kazuri beads factory. Get to learn and see local Kenyan women making the beads. the factory has a gift shop where you can purchase them after learning how they are made to support the efforts of the local community.
