Kenya is known for the export of Arabica coffee (The best). Visit the county next to Nairobi (25 Km) and get to know how the best coffee is grown and maintained. In 1928 its original owners the Glassfords founded the farm now named Karunguru and the cultivation of coffee began. Later on Geoffrey Karekia Kariithi purchased the home in Juja that was on a 300-acre farm, in order for the legacy of his father to live on he called the farm Karunguru after his father. Little did he know that this small 300-acre farm would grow into a coffee producing branded company of now about 500 acres that markets the fertility of our Kenyan soil and the quality of our coffee.
Pick up will be made at 9 am and drive for an hour to the coffee farms.(Karunguru coffee farm). Get to learn more about the Kenyan coffee and its history, how it is grown, harvested and processed. Get to enjoy a cup of the premium coffee as you enjoy your tour around the farm. the tour at the farm takes 3 hours having been guided. Moreover, get to have lunch at the same place then afterwards get back to your picked up destination.
